Entering Items

The Item Window is accessed through the Projects and Specifications Window by clicking on the New Item button when a Project, Location, or Item is highlighted on the Specification Tree or by clicking on the Edit button when an Item is selected.  This window is divided into  five tabs for entering Item specifications and pricing information: Item, Pricing Detail, Status, Picture, and Workroom.


A Project Item is merchandise, services, design time, etc. that is proposed and/or billed to a Client.  A Project is made up of one or more Items in one or more Locations and each Item is comprised of one or more Components.  The Item Tab of the Item Window displays all of an Item’s Components, and provides access to the Component Window where Vendor and purchasing information can be entered.
