Create Item Entries from Whiteboard Cards

Item Whiteboard Cards can be used to create Project Specification, Inventory Stock or Catalog Items.

Creating a Project Specification Item

 

All item cards on your Whiteboard can be added to a project as an item that will appear in your

Project Specifications.

 

Select the More button WBMoreLightBlue to see your Share and Create Options.

 

WBShareCreateItemOptions

 

Select Create Item.

 

A message will appear to let you know the item will now be created in the project; Select OK to continue.

 

Another message will appear asking if you wish to review the item specification you just

created.  Choosing YES will open the item window so that you can see the details of

the item you just created.

 

 

 

Creating an Inventory Item

 

All item cards on your Whiteboard can be added as an Inventory Stock Item.

Select the More button WBMoreLightBlue to see your Share and Create Options.

Choose the Create Inventory Item option.

 

The inventory stock item window will appear - here you can add or change any details necessary.

A stock number for the new item is required.

 

After you have completed entering the desired stock item details, select OK to save it.

 

 

Creating a Catalog Item

 

All item cards on your Whiteboard can be added as a Catalog Item.

Select the More button WBMoreLightBlue to see your Share and Create Options.

Choose the Create Catalog Item option.

 

Enter a new Catalog Number (required) and a color/finish or style/size (if desired).

 

Select OK.

 

A message will appear to let you know the item was created in your catalog and give you the option to review the new item. Selecting YES will open the catalog item window, where you can review and make any changes that may be necessary.

 

Select OK when you are done.
