Tag both of the Item Cards that you wish to use for your Project Specification using the checkbox in the top left corner of the card.
Item Cards that are going to be created in Project Specifications require a project to be selected. Be sure to include the project on each Item Card before continuing.
Select the More button on the card that will be the main item. In the example below, our Wood Plank Flooring is the main item, we will select the More icon on this card.
Select Create Item with Components.
A message will appear to let you know the item will now be created in the project.
Select OK to continue.
Another message will appear asking if you wish to review the item specification you just created. Choosing YES will open the item window so that you can see the details of the item you just created.
You will see that the Wood flooring became our main item and the details for the Underlayment will show as a Purchase Order Component.
