New Proposal Window

The New Proposal Window is accessed through the Proposals and Documents Window and clicking the Add button.  This window is divided into two tabs: Proposal and Options, for generating Proposals and other specialized documents for Projects and setting defaults for how Proposals will print, respectively.  Design Manager produces a Proposal, also known as an Estimate, based on the Specifications entered on the Specifications Window.

Note:  Proposals are optional.  You may enter an Item and invoice it to the Client without creating a Proposal.  However, if you plan to receive a deposit from your Client to begin your purchasing, then a Proposal is desirable in order to track the usage of the deposit.
